Are you feeling the year-end momentum starting to build? As we head toward the finish line of this year, our team here in Burbank is preparing for our off-site planning session for 2026. It’s the time when we take a hard look at what’s working for us, what we should keep doing, what deserves to be expanded, and what’s time to stop.

So, I wanted to share a few things we’ve found to be especially effective as we wrap up the year.

Open houses drive real results. We’ve found that knocking on five doors on each side of the street and ten across from the property is a simple strategy, but it works. We’ve also been reconnecting with past clients, checking in to see how they’re doing, and wishing them well for Thanksgiving and the holidays. These conversations often lead to meaningful exchanges about their families, and sometimes, to referrals from people who are just like them.

Marketing strategies that continue to perform. Some of our best results still come from traditional methods. Mailing “just sold” postcards around our listings has been effective, and sign calls remain one of our strongest lead sources. We’ve also seen success with property fliers that include a hotline number. A few of those calls have come from outside buyers who ended up referring business back to us. Many of these leads have turned into opportunities to help people with both buying and selling their homes.

Zillow Flex in L.A. County. The area has now shifted from market-based pricing to a full Flex model. There are already over a hundred teams participating, and it’s only going to grow from here.
