Are you looking for ways to hit the ground running this year with your clients? I want to share three quick tips that can make a real difference as we start 2026. These are actions you can take right now to help your clients and drive results in your business.

1. Reach out about the new CalHFA program. Connect with your clients about the new California Housing Finance Agency (CalHFA) program. It provides up to $150,000, covering as much as 20% of a home’s purchase price.

Unlike traditional fixed financing, this program includes deferred repayments, making it an attractive option for buyers. Now’s a great time to let your clients know about this opportunity.

2. Promote FHA down payment assistance. This program is available to more than just first-time homebuyers, and it requires a minimum 660 FICO score with no income limits. Buyers can access 3.5% or 5% down payment assistance, making it easier for a wider range of clients to get into a home. Sharing this option can really open doors for buyers who might think they don’t qualify.

3. Maximize open house attendance with social media. We’ve been seeing great results from promoting our open houses on social media. Posts are driving 20 to 30 clients through each event. With interest rates at their lowest since September 2022, buyers are motivated, and it’s an ideal time to get people in the door. Posting regularly and engaging online can make a big difference in turnout.
